When Aerospace Meets Conservation

Satellite data is used by conservationists for many Earth-based initiatives. Scientists are utilizing images from 372 miles above the planet to count elephants in South Africa’s Addo Elephant National Park. This cutting edge technology could help anti-poaching efforts and aid in protecting endangered elephant troops crossing international borders. Red Canyon is proud to support missions to “improve our own,” including wildlife!
