Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter 15 Year Celebration

This week, we are celebrating 15 years since the launch of NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) on August 12, 2005. While providing scientists plenty of informative data and research, MRO has earned recognition for capturing incredible high-resolution images of the Red Planet!

Red Canyon worked on this mission from 2002 – 2016, starting in the beginning stages of software development and seeing it through various operations, including flight operations during launch, cruise, and aerobraking. Thank you and congratulations to all of our MRO engineers! We are extremely proud to have been a part of such a successful and impactful mission.
