Dream Chaser Helps Pave the Way to the Orbital Age!

Outer space is vast and complex, but we don’t have to go far to take advantage of the benefits. A high radiation environment, a near-vacuum state, and microgravity can all be found just 250 miles above us, in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). This remarkable environment is invaluable to biotech researchers and advanced materials manufacturers as they work towards discoveries to improve life on Earth. The ISS finds its home in LEO, and soon, getting there will become significantly more efficient and affordable.

In 2023, the first Dream Chaser spaceplane from Sierra Space will launch aboard the Vulcan Centaur rocket. It will showcase its capabilities on the first of a series of resupply missions to the ISS, but these missions are only the beginning! More people will be able to travel to a range of LEO destinations, like Orbital Reef and LIFE Habitat, for research, business, and more on this modern commercial spaceplane! With flight software IV&V support from Red Canyon, Dream Chaser will usher in a new era of space-based research: The Orbital Age!
