The ISS Contributed to 400+ Scientific Papers in 2021!

2021 was a busy year for astronauts on board the International Space Station. Experiments extended into five categories: Earth & space studies, biology/biotechnology, educational activities, human research, physical science, and technology. Some of the experiments included observing earth’s atmosphere at night to measure climate effects, the marine pollution, as well as space debris. This is a first step for potential debris removal by laser! This is just one of over 400 studies that were published this year with ISS support!
