Description:
Mechanical Engineer to support design of the electrical and mechanical ground support equipment (GSE) on the ORION Space Program.

The candidates shall have experience in CAD, GSE Design, and ProE Wildfire 3.0. Candidates must also be familiar with drafting practices per ASME Y14.100 with emphasis on Y14.5 and use of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T.) Work location is Denver Colorado.

Tasks Include but not limited to:

1) Research, design, develop and create detail drawings and parts lists for mechanical products and systems such as rack enclosures, junction boxes, case equipment, and hand held instruments.

2) Research, design, develop and create detail drawings for Mechanical Ground support Equipment products such as slings, dollies, rotation fixtures, transporters, covers, and special equipment.

Experience Required:
** CAD, GSE Design and ProE Wildfire 3.0
** Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 with emphasis on Y14.5, drafting practices
** Experience in spacecraft design integration
** Bachelors Degree, Master preferred
** Strong technical, communicative, skills
** Diverse experience in engineering development of complex human-rated space craft
** Self motivated, detail oriented, goal driven
** Passionate about space exploration
