Description:
Staff Engineer to support the Orion Crew Module (CM) Integrated Product Team. Previous experience on Orion or with large spacecraft mechanical system design, integration, test and operations a plus. Work location is Denver Colorado.

Tasks Include:
1) Support product and process development including maintaining the CM IPT Plan; support requirements development and review of design implementation with strong emphasis on mechanical issues.
2) Develop technical presentation materials for CM program reviews, cost and technical impact analysis for change proposals, and CM planning tools to identify and track critical path tasks and long lead procurement items.
3) Provide expertise on all aspect of large spacecraft system design and integration issues, technical review of CM subsystem specifications, and subsystem & component designs.
4) Technical review and management assistance.

Experience Required:

** Bachelors Degree, Master preferred
** Strong technical and communicative skills
** Experience working with Orion Crew Module and large spacecraft a plus
** Self motivated, detail oriented, goal driven
** Passionate about space exploration
