Red Canyon is seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, goal driven Fullstack Developer on the DSIO program at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA.

Raytheon Pasadena is looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is an expert in full-stack development. We are looking for someone eager to join a team of scientists, engineers, and a drive for cutting edge technology at our customer site in Jet Propulsion Laboratory. You will be supporting a wide range of existing and upcoming missions in support of natural hazard monitoring systems. Primary focus will be enhancing existing infrastructure and developing new features and bringing the latest and greatest technology for the success of the missions.

Required Clearance: Clearance is not required for this position

Required Skills:
High level skills with Python and other scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, bash, etc.)
Expert in Amazon cloud services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.
Experience in managing Docker workloads in production environment.
Strong skills with configuration management framework, such as, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Git.
Experience with system administering a Linux cluster that includes:
VMWare, Nagios, Ganglia, LDAP, NFS, NAS, RAID Array, load balancing
Experience in HTTP front-end development:
Django, Flask, matplotlib, D3.js, Javascript, NodeJS

Desired Skills:
10+ years of overall technology experience. (can desire 10 years of exp, the minimum is 8)
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
2+ years of Infrastructure Architecture related work especially with AWS
Experience in performing complex analysis of large data sets
Experience in Docker, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, NoSQL and relevant databases
Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
Experience in working with a high capacity mission-critical web serving environment

Location: The candidate will be required to work in Pasadena CA

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8 years of related experience.
