Red Canyon is seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, goal driven Back-End Developer on the DSIO program at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA.

Job Description:
Raytheon Pasadena is looking for a Back-End Developer with DevOps experience who are comfortable in software development, delivery, and processing. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to support exciting projects for our JPL/NASA customer.

Required Skills:
· Advanced skill is Python is a must. Experience with C/C++, Java etc is also will be helpful. Experience with Data Science is a plus.
· Strong in JSON
· Good understanding of REST APIs
· Strong Experience in version control, specially GIT
· Strong in Unix, specially Linux: System Administration, Shell Scripting etc
· Experience with AWS:
o EC2
o S3
o Lamda/SNS
o Cloudwatch
o Auto Scaling Groups
o AWS CLI
· Strong experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
· Experience with Docker
· Experience with Continuous Integration with Jenkins
· Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, Puppet etc.
· Good understanding of Network Protocols
· Database design and implementation
· Slackbot

Desired Skills:
· Familiarity with Geospatial Data Abstraction Library (GDAL)
· Familiarity with InSAR Scientific Computing Environment (ISCE), Generic InSAR Analysis Toolbox (GIAnT) etc
· Extensive understanding and wide application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in systems engineering, software architecture, network architecture, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing resulting in contributions to the development of new theories and methods
· Ability to complete detailed, accurate work under time pressure
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Location:
The candidate will be required to work in Pasadena CA

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
