PP&C Program Board Support position supporting the Kennedy LX Support (KLXS) contract in the LX Program, Planning and Control Office for the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program at Kennedy Space Center, Florida

Description of Duties: The Program Support Specialist will provide support to EGS Program boards, panels, milestone reviews, working groups and other meetings as required. The specialist could also provide Strategic Communications support as needed. The specialist will provide support as follows:
Maintain meeting schedules. This includes ensuring reservations of conference rooms and setting up video conferences, Web Exchanges, and teleconference capabilities as required. The specialist will also send out calendar invitations.
Document agendas including coordinating with members to ensure all items are received and available within the appropriate EGS LX SharePoint site(s) for meeting presentation, and will update agendas and maintain a rolling agenda when appropriate.
Take full responsibility for running any meeting, board, panel, review and working group as assigned. This includes providing meeting support and ensuring the meeting room is set up prior to the meeting. During the meetings, the specialist will operate all electronic media and run the presentations.
Document, transcribe and publish meeting minutes and ensure they are timely entered into TechDoc and the appropriate EGS LX SharePoint site(s) when required.
Document and track all action items.
Manage all associated SharePoint site(s).
Interact with customers and/or ICM analysts to gain cooperation of others conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific data management projects.
Participate in and support projects and conduct data management related research information, as needed.
Participate in process improvement initiatives employing process improvement methodology and best practices, and support quality reviews of processes and work products.
Assist in the management of document flows, CR distribution and tracking, data migration, supporting IPT meetings and various working groups, etc. as necessary. Meeting and working group attendance will be necessary as requested by the NASA or KLXS management.
Perform additional tasking as necessary at the request of NASA.
Level of experience: At least 2 years of related experience in the field of board support, administrative support, and organizational management.

Advanced computer skills with the ability to navigate the various software functions, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, a collaborative application framework (e.g., SharePoint), etc., and use the internet.
Effective communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate concepts and procedures clearly and in an easily understood language.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Proven ability to understand various business environments and processes to document.
High attention to detail and demonstrated follow-through on products.
Ability to spend long periods in front of a computer terminal.
Ability to work as required to complete assignments per predefined schedule.
Ability to multi-task in changing dynamic environment.
Due to contractual requirements, only U.S Citizens will be considered.

Education: Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business or a related field.
