Red Canyon is seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, goal driven Risk Analyst on the KLXS-II program at Kennedy Space Center (KSC). This Risk Analyst will be a key member of the risk management team for the Ground Systems Development and Operations Program at KSC, Florida.

The risk manager will assist in risk identification, risk mitigation plan development, track risk mitigation progress, and produce risk reports. Requires a technical knowledge along with extensive experience in risk management analysis using Active Risk Manager (ARM) software, or equivalent as well as MS Project and MS Office suite. The employee will report to the Millennium Engineering & Integration (MEI) Program Planning and Control (PP&C) manager. Duties assigned will include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Provide element support to identify Project risks, develop risk mitigation plans, and track risk mitigation progress.
• Document risk information such as risk statement, context, mitigation plan, and risk score using Active Risk Manager (ARM).
• Facilitate element risk review forums and develop presentations in support of element risk reviews.
• Advise element leads when to report risks to the next higher organizational level.
• Create risk reports and prepare risk status presentations for Project risk reviews.

• 6+ years of program risk management experience
• Excellent organization skills, presentation skills, oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• Bachelor of Arts or Sciences, 2 years of additional experience may be substituted for the required education
• Energetic, self-motivated, team player
• Good organization skills to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Due to contractor requirements, only U.S. citizens will be considered

Desired Skills:
• Prefer experience in Active Risk Manager (ARM)
• Technical background, preferably in the aerospace industry
• Detailed understanding of the Program Lifecycle/Systems Engineering Lifecycle
• Experience working in matrixed organizations
